[edit] How to schedule an Elluminate Live! meeting

  1. Go to http://elm.elluminate.com/FRONTRANGE/ (This URL is case-sensitive)
  2. Enter your login ID and password (if you don’t have an ID and password see the section above titled "Setting up an Elluminate Live! moderator account").
  3. Click on the "To create a new meeting click here." link
  4. Add your meeting name. If you are scheduling a meeting for a department, committee, etc., please include the college initials and the name of the group meeting and in parentheses the number of seats you will be using (example: FRCC Online Learning (6)). If the meeting is for a class, please include your college initials and your course prefix, number, and section in the meeting name and in parentheses the number of seats you will be using (example: FRCC CIS 118-150 Office Hours (5)). Including this information will allow meeting participants to easily identify the correct meeting on the schedule if there is more then one meeting at that time.
  5. In the password field, you do NOT need to enter a password unless the meeting is confidential
  6. Make sure that you enter in a start date and start time; end date and end time. This will ensure that your participants will be able to enter the meeting at the correct time.
  7. If the meeting is going to be repeated for several days check the box Repeat this meeting
  8. It is important to have the box checked Show this meeting on the public schedule because we are limited to a total of 100 users at one time using Elluminate Live! This means that several separate meetings can be going simultaneously but the number of Elluminate Live! connections can only be 100 or less. Checking this box allows everyone to see what meeting have been scheduled and ensures that we don’t go over our 100 seat limit.
  9. Then click Create!
  10. Finally, you may to copy and paste the meeting information into an email or copy the link to add as a URL to WebCT.
